Well, the truth is.. actually.. I’m in love.

‘Okay. Well, the truth is.. actually.. I’m in love.’

The truth is, I’m in love with you. And the truth must be told.

So many people in this world, yet I am completely in love with only you.

Is there anything greater than love?

However.. falling in love is not the same as loving someone. Love can begin with falling in love, but falling in love does not always lead to love. On the contrary, it can grow into something very unhealthy, even toxic.

Falling in love is very often connected with egoic wanting and needing.. You become ‘intoxicated’ by someone, feeling an intense desire to spend time together, a constant craving for more and more.. You want to be with them all the time, and you miss them the moment they leave. You crave their touch, their presence, their kiss.

That is what makes falling in love so exciting, and people tend to confuse it with love. And yes.. this is a really beautiful part of being with someone you’re in love with.. but to truly love them.. requires much more.

Falling in love feels like infatuation, while love is acceptance. Infatuation makes you see an image of someone, not the whole picture. Simply put.. you ignore red flags. You see only what you want to see, what you need in that moment, what makes you feel good.

Loving someone means accepting them as they are. Committing to them. Letting them be. Letting them feel free. To love is to embrace each other, to build something real together.

Love is built.

This isn’t the only text. But today, it might be enough.
