‘Strong women STILL need their hands held.’
Still?!
Why is this even questioned at all? It’s so wrong.. and sad.
Why is it so surprising that a strong woman still wants softness, love, protection and emotional safety from the right man?
Strength does not cancel that.
Just because I’m strong.. it does not exclude a REAL man holding my hand. On the contrary — I love it.
However, he has to match me.
And to be clear, when I say ‘match me’, I’m talking about strength, values, standards, mindset, emotional depth and heart.
That’s something I have to feel.
This whole misunderstanding between men and women made me think deeply about what ‘equal rights’ was truly supposed to mean.. and how much people still misunderstand it today.
Just bits of my thoughts to clarify the reality many women still live today.. and sadly, many still accept as normal. Because lack of understanding and education around this topic can be extremely damaging.
As a consequence, we now have a world full of weak, effeminate men and women losing their femininity, comparing and competing with those men. Trying to prove they don’t need men at all.
And because of that, many people completely lost the understanding of healthy masculinity and femininity.
There are many layers to this topic.. but I’ll try to explain it simply and directly, as always.
I think many people never truly understood what equal rights actually meant.. and why women fought for them in the first place.
No, it was never about rejecting men.
It was about wanting to be treated properly.
Let’s talk about financial independence.. because that’s the key point here. Money. Yes.
Women wanting financial independence should have never even become such a major issue.. if men had not used money, power and dependence as a way to control, humiliate, mistreat or feel superior to women.
Back then, many women stayed at home taking care of the family and household, which naturally made them financially dependent on the man.
And that became the problem.
So women stood up against mistreatment.. not against all men.
That distinction matters.
Because a woman wanting independence does not cancel her desire for a real man beside her.
Don’t confuse those two things.
Financial independence is not about hating men.
It’s about making sure a woman is never forced to stay somewhere she is disrespected, humiliated, abused or controlled.
If women had always been respected for who they are, what they give, what they sacrifice, what they create and for being one of the pillars of the family.. many of these demands would not even exist today.
A healthy relationship is not about competition. It’s about complementing each other. Supporting each other in different ways.
Although nowadays we see all kinds of relationships.. I still believe in the differences between men and women that make them complementary and equally important.
A man’s role is to lead, provide and protect. A woman’s is to nurture, take care and create.
No one is competing here, but complementing.
That’s not ideology. That’s biology.
Protection, care, emotional safety, loyalty, provision and nurturing.. all of these things matter.
And yes, we live in a material world. Money matters because it makes life easier.
But if you use money as a tool to control the person you claim to love.. that says everything about who you are.
And we should all say no to that.
Read this carefully:
Money is not the issue. The issue is how you treat the person you love.
Money comes and goes.
But the way you treat someone stays. It affects them.
So if you constantly throw in someone’s face everything you do for them.. especially because they depend on you financially — what kind of person are you, really?
And another important thing:
Women do not want to be objectified.
Sadly, many women still measure their worth through their appearance and through how much men desire them. That’s how many of us were taught. To be obedient. To look beautiful. For men.
Dear woman.. dear girl.. you are so much more than that.
Women are capable of far more than that.
We want to be respected for who we are.. not only for how we look.
However.. feeling safe and protected with the right man — yes, that is deeply rooted in us. We cannot deny it.
Every woman wants to feel emotionally safe with her man.
A woman wants commitment. Stability. Loyalty. Security.
She wants to depend on her man in a healthy way.. not in a destructive one.
Again — we are meant to complement each other, not compete against each other.
But for that.. she needs a REAL man.
And to me, a real man means integrity. A masculine man who treats the woman he loves with respect. As his queen. Not a doll.
And to all women reading this:
Before demanding a real man.. make sure you are a real woman too.
A woman who respects her man for who he is, what he gives and what he carries as a man.
Because everything goes both ways.
And no — women do not want to become mothers, therapists or emotional punching bags for emotionally immature men.
We want to feel respected. Protected. Valued. Safe.
Like women should feel with the right man.
‘She can take care of herself just fine. Still she only wants a man who is willing to lay it all on the line to make sure she is ok. But she will never ask for that. Because when it is real, she knows she won’t have to.’
This isn’t the only text. But today, it might be enough.
