I wonder how many couples would still stay together if they switched their phones for a day

‘Stop liking other women’s half-naked pictures on Instagram if you’re in a relationship. Stop flirting, commenting, emojiing, and entertaining other women who aren’t your woman. You are disrespecting her, and making her look stupid. If you’re not ready to commit, give a real man a chance.’

This isn’t just the rule for the internet but also outside of it. How you behave and treat your partner behind their back, speaks volumes about you.

And this kind of behavior would be appropriate for high schoolers, but you wouldn’t believe how many adults still seem to be in high school. Maybe you already know that.

I know that many people won’t like reading this, I’m sure they won’t be comfortable.. but you know why? If you are the one, it’s because you’re doing it and you know it’s not right! If you’re doing something secretly, and you don’t want it to be discovered, then you shouldn’t be doing it! And the proof of that is simple.. the moment it’s discovered, you feel uncomfortable.

BUT dear men, this doesn’t apply just to you.. This applies to both men and women.

And if you visit other people’s ‘inboxes’ often – or messaging others, what da fuck are you doing in other people’s inboxes if you’re in a relationship? Oh.. don’t tell me, you’re talking about business, right?

So why do you delete those messages? Why do you hide your activity from your partner? And if it’s innocent.. why does it need to stay hidden?

One thing I will never understand is why people enter relationships when they still want to act single. Actually I do understand, I just don’t accept it or normalize it.

So.. if you’re in a relationship, why are you still looking for attention from other people?

Does your partner know about all your friends you talk to? Does your partner know that you are single?

If you’re unhappy in a relationship sit down and talk about it. Fix it. Break up, divorce and then do whatever da fuck you want. Don’t play around hurting others.

Love, respect and trust are the foundation of any relationship. You shouldn’t have to teach people the basics. It’s something we should all know through simple common sense. But you have to use it.

We all know the difference between what feels right and what doesn’t. If you’re still not sure, which I doubt, then ask yourself: ‘Would I want someone to do that to me? How would I feel?’

However, as this often happens.. it seems that many people do not know what basic manners and education are.

They operate at the level of teenagers with boiling hormones and they are already in their 40s, 50s.. Their depth of consciousness and emotional intelligence is at the level of a dessert spoon.

So.. when you feel like your partner may not have enough responsibility and respect for you, tell them how you feel. If they don’t change their behavior despite what you said, understand they don’t value you in the way you should be.

Also, make a distinction between whether your insecurity is coming from you or whether their behavior is making you insecure around them.

Always talk openly about everything and why something makes you feel uncomfortable. Sometimes it isn’t our partners at all.. sometimes it’s us. So always talk.

Remember: You can’t force someone to respect you, but you mustn’t forget to respect yourself.. so walk away from anyone who doesn’t respect you. How they treat you is much more important than how much you think you love someone.

I wonder how many couples would still stay together if they switched their phones for a day.

Or even for an hour.

This isn’t the only text. But today, it might be enough.
