Honesty never destroys what is real. It only reveals what never truly was.

‘Anything you lose by being honest, you never really had to begin with.’

Anything you lose by being honest was never built on truth to begin with. Honesty never destroys what is real. It only reveals what never truly was.

Yet you had to go through it first. Otherwise, you would never have discovered that honesty never takes anything real away from you.

You can only win, even though sometimes that ‘win’ won’t be seen as such at the beginning. Sometimes the truth will be painful. But do not let pain deceive you. Truth sometimes hurts. Illusion hurts for as long as you choose to live in it.

Every person you lose by being yourself returns a piece of your freedom and creates more space in your life. Not every loss is truly a loss.

Eventually, you realize you never really had anything to lose.

You never owned them. People are not possessions. They choose to stay.. or they choose to leave.

And every relationship that is built on a lie.. is better off never having begun. The sooner you understand this, the easier life becomes.

And it seems that many people are afraid of being who they truly are. Many spend years performing a version of themselves, hoping that someone will finally love them. They would rather stay in relationships, constantly trying to satisfy and please others while slowly losing themselves. They remain unfulfilled because they live according to other people’s expectations instead of their own truth.

They do it out of fear, not because they want to, but because they are guided by it. They fear their partner’s reaction. They fear losing the relationship. They fear saying what they truly think and feel. They fear being judged.. and so the cycle continues.

Different excuses. Same reason.

Fear.

Every time you abandon yourself to keep someone else.. you lose twice. You ignore yourself and your own needs just to keep someone or meet other people’s expectations.. and in the end, you become exhausted.

Invisible in your own life.

Tell me.. do you actually love yourself.. or do you simply hope someone else finally will?

Do you want to be loved for who you are.. or for the performance you give to others?

Do you not think you deserve love?

So.. start by loving yourself.

Honesty begins long before communication. It begins the moment you stop lying to yourself.

Know your intentions. Know what you want from a relationship. Know what you bring into it. Communicate your boundaries. Always communicate honestly, respectfully and openly.. especially when something hurts.

Speaking of every kind of relationship.

Be honest no matter what. Honesty will reduce the number of people in your life.. but it will increase the quality of every relationship you keep.

Be true to yourself no matter what. Authenticity filters people better than any test ever could.

As I said.. first and foremost, you have to be honest with yourself. Stand up for yourself and do what is right, not what is easy.

When you are truly yourself.. you radiate authenticity and uniqueness. You introduce yourself to the world without saying a single word.

There is something special and honorable about people who are genuinely themselves. Honest people simply radiate differently. They are genuinely beautiful and pure.

Authentic people look peaceful because they no longer waste energy pretending.

They no longer negotiate with what destroys their peace. They simply understand that some compromises are out of the question.

And they know that if they want a real and honest relationship.. they cannot become someone they are not just to keep another person.

Therefore, since we live in a world where authentic people are becoming increasingly rare.. they understand that meeting someone ‘perfect’ for them will feel like serendipity.

Authenticity is not negotiable. Never lower your truth just because others feel uncomfortable. Better to wait for a soul that recognizes yours than to spend a lifetime pretending for someone who never would.

There is no compromise when it comes to authenticity. Authenticity is not for sale.

This isn’t the only text. But today, it might be enough.
