All mouth no trousers? So many people in this world have trust issues because people say “I’m here for you” and then run away as soon as things start to fall apart.
How SADLY true these words are. And “sad”, empty people who offer nothing but empty words.
Many people say things just for saying them, without any intention of keeping their word. Not even standing behind their words. Don’t be one of them.
Many people say things because they SOUND nice.. they don’t say them because they ARE genuinely nice people.. rather they want to LEAVE AN IMPRESSION of being nice.
This is so wrong on so many levels.
First and foremost check yourself.
If you promise something to someone, keep your word. If something gets in the way(life) and disrupts the plans.. APOLOGIZE to those who wait for you.
Remember you have offered something to them.. so they are waiting for you. Maybe you’re their last ray of hope and they count on you.. because they TRUST YOU! And it’s called respect and responsibility.
So not only you will lose their trust, but also credibility and dignity! Your actions define who you are!
If you say things just for saying them without intention of keeping your word, then keep your mouth shut!
Live with integrity, it’s that simple! It seems that for many it is not simple.
All mouth no trousers? You know them? Great, we all know them. Just make sure that you are not one of them.
But also, make sure to STAY AWAY from them.
It’s so easy to tell fairy tales. But if you don’t live the fairy tale you tell or if you are not creating one, you are nothing but someone who tells empty stories to impress others.
Why would you like to impress anyone based on empty talk, things they want to hear, lies? Is that all you have to offer, the best you can do? What happens when others discover your empty stories? Are you blaming them for trusting you?
Many people out there promise things they are not capable of doing. Trying to conquer someone’s heart, to impress them, and this only shows that they are cowards. Once they realize they can’t keep up with their story.. they give up, leaving the other person disappointed, blaming them and telling them that it is impossible to please them.
Honour, integrity are things they are not familiar with. Trusting them it feels like Barmecide feast.
Please don’t try to IMPRESS others by attempting to be something you’re not. IMPRESS someone with honesty, by being a good person who walks their talk. Focus and work on yourself. Never play with someone’s emotions. It is cowardice. Live with integrity.
