Hello you beautiful soul! 💙🙏🏻

Are life and health expensive? Think about it: If there is a “Health Food” section in the grocery store, what does that make the rest of the food sold here?

I am speechless. Kind of. Well I’m not.. I just have many questions because this is food for thought. Literally.

And what to eat actually? Why is something offered that is not healthy? At the same time, you BUY, in other words, you give your money to support the producers of ‘unhealthy’ food and their profits, not your health.

I know you will say, it’s cheaper. It’s delicious. I know it’s delicious because I eat it too. But is it really cheaper?

We have way too many opinions about what to eat, when to eat, what to avoid.. and instead of helping us with those opinions, the effect is the opposite, because the opinions are often drastically different, contradictory. This only creates even greater confusion about something that should be so simple: food and eating.

Yesterday fats were bad, today it’s carbohydrates. Not to mention those who follow various diets. And there are so many different ones.. which one should you follow: keto, paleo, vegan, vegetarian, pescaterian.. type of diet?

Wtf?! First of all, can we just eat whatever is good for our bodies without putting any label on it?

Because what is good for one is not for another. And the consequences are huge and serious, whether it is a nutritional or vitamin deficiency, digestive problems, etc.

When I do grocery shopping, I feel lost. I find myself between reading labels, ingredients, whether to take organic or not, whether to eat this or that, etc.. it’s mentally exhausting. Not just mentally exhausting, but I neglect what my body craves at the moment.

Let’s not forget the influence of smart marketing tricks, which simply force you to buy more expensive, because it is ‘better’ for you.

Please folks, let’s simplify things and life.

There’s no good or bad or healthy or unhealthy food.. there is simply FOOD.

BUT be mindful what you put in your body and let majority of your meals be nutritious, whole foods. Listen to your stomach and body, they will tell you what you need and what makes you feel good.

We live with so much stress and food shouldn’t be the cause of stress too. Food is your fuel! Don’t restrict yourself, just be mindful what you put in your body. Eat according to your needs, not according to what society tells you that you should eat. Your body is your home.

But before you think what food you should eat, please wash your hands. Not just before you eat.

‘If everyone washed their hands properly we could save 1 million lives per year.’

I’m in shock. This is devastating, overwhealming information.

Please keep this in mind..

It’s not only that men are not washing their hands. Women are.. 😬
I’m terrified if I see women not washing their hands in public toilets. Yet they fix their hairs and makeup. 😬

Inform yourself about diseases(infections).. and how many of them spread because of bad hygiene. Wash your hands properly, using water and soap.

Wash your hands, wash your body, take care of yourself and you will take care of others. Education and responsibility.

And now let’s take a moment to read the answer in the comment section in the photo above and let’s appreciate good humour.

Depending on when you’re reading this, I wish you either a beautiful day or a good night, you beautiful soul! 🙏🏻🌏

So, let me introduce myself. My name is Irina Vujaklija and I was born in Belgrade on 31 January 1979. Who am I? Love. I know, you will roll your eyes.. But that is how it is. Discovering my true self wasn’t an easy process. Constantly working on myself, learning by seeking answers to many questions, I have managed to overcome very complicated life situations. Among other things, my severe motorcycle accident in 2004. A life altering moment in just one second.
