Create a life that feels good on the inside, not one that just looks good on the outside

‘Create a life that feels good on the inside, not one that just looks good on the outside.’

There are many people who ONLY measure personal success by what others can see from the outside. People who experience happiness only through buying material things. People who experience satisfaction only through making others envy them because they have money, status, titles or fame. That’s ego satisfaction.

And such people are not truly successful, happy or satisfied. It’s mostly just an image of what they want you to see.

They neglect what’s within them. And very often.. they are ashamed to show what they truly carry within themselves. Shame and fear stop them from doing so.

Because if they show their vulnerable and honest side.. they think it will destroy the image you have of them. They think you won’t admire them anymore.

And they need that admiration. It feeds their ego.

And how do they feel on the inside? Mostly empty, unhappy and unsatisfied.

So don’t get trapped in superficiality. And don’t allow appearances to fool you. And don’t build a false image of yourself either.

We live in a material world, and way too many people chase expensive cars, clothes, luxury and status.. believing those things will finally make them happy.

Yet so many of them remain deeply unhappy.

Let me help. It’s so simple and so unfathomable to many.

What we are truly chasing is the feeling we get when we buy something we like, for example shoes we like.. not the shoes themselves. What we are truly looking for is the feeling something gives us.. not the thing itself.

That excitement. That emotional rush.

That’s why so many people confuse buying with happiness. Money with satisfaction. Fame with success.

These things should not be confused with one another. However, they can be in the same equation for an easier life.

And.. don’t get me wrong. I like beautiful things too. We all do. I love having enough money and less stress. But that has nothing to do with true happiness.

Because money makes life easier.. and it only magnifies who you already are. Money doesn’t bring happiness. Otherwise there wouldn’t be so many rich and unhappy people.

Happiness comes from within.

Way too many people who constantly post photos of their ‘good life’ are trying to impress others with how well they live.. while completely neglecting themselves and their inner world. They don’t invest in themselves.

They know how to decorate their image or pictures for social media.. but not how to nurture their soul.

And that’s the sad reality of the world we live in. But it’s also a wake-up call. Because all of this can change.. if you are willing to change.

The superficial world we live in — and the things society teaches us — should be questioned.

In fact, there are things far more important than happiness. Happiness is on the surface. Inner peace and contentment go much deeper. As I always say, inner peace and contentment matter far more.. and happiness comes as a consequence of them.

So invest IN yourself. Inside first. And then that will naturally reflect on the outside. That’s the only way it truly works — never the other way around.

Stop trying to impress everyone else. Control your ego.

And start impressing yourself by creating a good life from the INSIDE. Feel good on the inside.. and let that naturally reflect on the outside.

Because, you have to live with that feeling every single day. Let it be good.

This isn’t the only text. But today, it might be enough.
