‘Every story has an end, but in life every ending is just a new beginning.’
Think about it this way: a new year begins because the previous one ended. A new day begins because the previous one ended. Neither can begin unless the previous one ends. When something ends, something else begins.
Notice how life doesn’t stop. It continues. Time passes, and a new day is born.
So don’t let YOUR life stop when something ends.
Because life goes on and it won’t wait for you.
The end of a relationship doesn’t mean the end of the world or the end of life, however difficult it may be to accept.
Every breakup or divorce is usually painful.
And by not accepting the end of a chapter and the reality of it, you’re only making things worse. So give yourself time to understand, accept and heal. As much time as you need.
Then close that door.. so you can open a new one.
You must accept the end of something in order to begin something new.
Are endings painful? Mostly, yes.
But if there is no love left, for example, they are necessary.
An ending doesn’t necessarily mean something bad.
However, sometimes we hold on to something so desperately, even when it hurts us, and by doing so we create even more pain for ourselves. And suffering.
Sometimes the end is NECESSARY and HEALTHY, no matter how painful it is. It’s not the end of life.
It’s simply the end of one story in your life.
So.. it’s up to you how you choose to see endings.
If something no longer brings joy, growth or peace into your life.. if something leaves you empty instead of fulfilled.. it’s better to let it end.
Because if it was truly good for you.. it wouldn’t be ending, would it?
Endings aren’t necessarily bad. They simply mean that something new is about to begin. Whatever you want.
That’s your advantage.
And that’s how you create YOUR life.
Unlike life outside of you, which simply happens whether you agree with it or not, your inner life is something you can influence and shape. The same way you can’t — and shouldn’t — control other people.
Life goes on no matter where you are, what you’re doing, whether you agree with it or not.. it doesn’t ask you anything, it flows.
People do the same.
But you are the one who decides what happens within you and your life. Whether you’ll make things easier for yourself. Or not.
So look at life, accept it as it is and go with the flow.
Accepting an ending can be a freeing decision.
Embracing the unknown allows you to define your next chapter with intention rather than reacting to what is already behind you. Make peace with your past.
Close the door that leads nowhere and to nothing good, no matter how much you wish it were good. There are things that don’t depend solely on you. Give yourself the chance for something truly good.
That’s why you have to put a period at the end of a sentence or story before starting a new one.
Time passes..
It doesn’t wait for you.
Time is the most valuable thing we have. The most precious gift we can give to someone. Sharing our time with someone. Making memories worth remembering with someone.
So choose carefully who you give your time and your love to.
Every day, every moment, can be the beginning of something you wish. But you have to accept the end. Leave it behind so you can begin something new.
As I said, endings aren’t necessarily bad. They simply mean you’re giving yourself the opportunity to begin again.
And it is okay if it hurts a bit. It is okay to be afraid of the unknown. It is okay if you feel sad or wish things had happened differently. But they didn’t.
You are where you are.
Give yourself a chance for a new beginning by finishing the previous chapter.
