‘It’s always the ones with the dirty hands pointing the fingers.’
Isn’t it interesting how ATTACK often becomes the preferred defense mechanism of people who refuse to take responsibility for their actions?
That is an attempt at manipulation.. and if you are not aware of it, they can easily drag you into stories full of noise, confusion and drama.. hiding themselves and their (mis)deeds behind all that noise.
They move through life choosing and identifying with the role of the victim. They do not take responsibility for their lives and even less for what they do.
They blame others, complain constantly, avoid accountability and act cowardly.
It is always much easier for them to blame others.. thinking that if they repeat a lie often enough, it will somehow become the truth.
And it becomes the truth in their minds.
And sometimes it even becomes the truth in the minds of those who never question what they hear.
Attacking others, they use lies to ‘protect’ themselves, while damaging other people.
They also try to convince others, sometimes very aggressively, that it is always someone else’s fault and that they are the ‘poor ones’, intending to make you feel sorry for them.
Playing the victim in order to justify the way they treat others.. that way they manipulate people, using and taking advantage of their empathy and emotions.
That is how they ‘protect’ themselves.. convincing themselves (and others) that it is always somebody else’s mistake.
And of course, they do not change. They stay the same and repeat the same cycle over and over again, lying to themselves and to others.
They will manipulate even through tears, if necessary.
But listen to them carefully, because sometimes they will say VERY CLEARLY what they are doing wrong.. BUT WITHOUT ANY INTENTION OF CHANGING THEIR BEHAVIOR.
So make no mistake — they know exactly what they are doing.
They will even apologize.. but again, without any intention of changing what they do wrong.
Because their goal is to make you feel sorry for them and practically allow them to continue the same behavior!
So listen to them very carefully. And watch how they behave.
You will see it for yourself.
And that is how they are used to going through life, because they once learned to get what they want and need that way, and over time it became their way of dealing with situations.
BUT ONLY WHERE THEY ARE ALLOWED.
It is up to you to decide what you allow in your life.
They remain the same because they see no need to change if they always get what they need that way.
It is much easier to blame others than to face themselves and what they do or say.
Do not even try to tell them they are wrong. Because in their reality, they are not.
And they will change only when they genuinely want to. Once they realize the wrong they are doing.
So recognize these situations and simply move away. Why would you stay there?
Of course, point out the problem if you believe it is necessary.
But do not enter into discussions with them.. because you will only exhaust yourself.
You are not responsible for other people’s behavior or their lives.
You are responsible for your own.
This isn’t the only text. But today, it might be enough.
