You have to learn to be a builder of love

‘True love isn’t found. It’s built.’

If sincere and true love knocks on your door.. let it in.. and do not take it for granted.

Love is built.

You have to learn to be a builder of love.

True love, dedication, loyalty, honesty, respect, trust, a shared vision, healthy communication and being best friends with your partner..

This is the foundation on which you build a strong relationship.
If this seems like too much to you.. maybe you are not a builder yet.. and you should become one if you want your relationship to last.

Building a relationship is like building a house.

Actually.. you are building your home.

You do not want to build a house of cards.

A house of cards is built on an unstable foundation — full of lies and insincerity.. and one puff of sincere breath is enough to destroy it.

That is the role of a destroyer.. creating misery not only in your own life, but also in the lives of those around you.

It happens often.. and most people are not even aware of it.

Some people choose to live in lies, it seems they love to live in a lie.. afraid to walk away from relationships or marriages without love.. for many different reasons.

They are afraid that if they finally say out loud how they truly feel, they will destroy all those years invested in a place where they are not loved. What can you possibly destroy.. if there was no love there to begin with?

The thing is.. you are afraid to face the truth that hurts.
It is like waking up from a nightmare.

And waking up is not easy. But it matters. It is necessary. That is where true honesty is born.

Yet many choose not to wake up and remain in loveless relationships. Again, their choice is driven by fear.

Let me ask you.. if you stay in a relationship without love, out of fear.. what can you possibly destroy?

I will give you a simple answer: your health.

If you hide things from your partner.. what is the point of hiding and lying? It speaks volumes about you. And if your partner is not also your best friend.. what exactly are you building?

Are you cheating on them? Would you cheat on your best friend? Why would you hurt your best friend? Again.. what is the point?

If you are doing things behind their back.. ask yourself.. how would you feel if your partner did the exact same thing to you?

Would you feel comfortable swapping phones with your partner for just one day.. or even one hour?

So many unhappy relationships.. and the truth is — we all deserve TRUE love.

So many people settle.. miserable in relationships, saying there is no true love.. and convincing themselves of it.

No, dear. True love DOES exist.

First of all.. become the person you are looking for.

Be the person you want to have in your life.

If you are someone who truly knows what love is and maybe even lives it.. then obviously TRUE love exists.

But as long as many people do not know how to love themselves first.. and continue settling for crumbs.. finding true love will remain rare.

Truly special connections are rare.. but when it finally happens to you.. do not take it lightly. Nurture it and build it.

Build it on a strong foundation.

Once you are in a relationship.. do not take it for granted thinking your work is done and that it will last forever on its own. Do not assume that love will survive by itself without effort and care.
No, it will not.

It will last for as long as you keep watering the flower. A flower needs care.. and your relationship is no different.

And a relationship goes both ways. You both have to work on it.

If you want it to remain special.. you both have to keep making it special.

Life is very simple. Not easy, but very simple.

People complicate life a lot by not being honest.. first of all with themselves.

And above all.. they constantly complain, point fingers at others and blame others.. instead of looking within themselves and asking whether they are actually giving what they ask and expect from others.

So tell me.. are you a builder or a destroyer?

This isn’t the only text. But today, it might be enough.
