How long has it been since someone touched your soul?
How long has it been since someone touched part of you other than your body?
How long has it been since someone touched and captured the attention of your soul other than your eye?
How long has it been since someone touched beneath the surface of your skin and captured your heart and not just your gaze?
How long has it been since you have connected with someone with your soul and mind other than your body?
How long has it been since YOU even tried to connect, dedicate, commit to that special ONE in your eyes, instead of being ‘connected’ with so many people..?
What kind of relationship do you want? What are you looking for in your partner? Do you settle for less than you give? And what do you give? Is your relationship superficial and do you perceive love based on physical attraction?
Please.. WAIT FOR SOMEONE WHO WILL MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE YOU’VE BEEN STRUCK BY FU.KING LIGHTNING! And never.. NEVER settle for ‘fine’ and superficial.
Remember.. You can be attracted to many, but rarely who will touch your soul. Wait for the who will spark your soul, the one who will accept you as you are.
You can meet hundreds of people and no one really touches your soul.. And then suddenly that day will come when someone will appear who will turn your world upside down.. and you will wonder which side is right! This doesn’t happen often, it is impossible.. another reason that makes encounteres like this magical and special.
And the thing is.. What is your reaction? Do you put your part and do you do your best to keep that person by your side, do you tell them how you feel? Or do you let your fear stop you from doing what your heart wants.. just because everything seems unreal and fear arises.. so, naturally your brain will start questioning things looking for logical answers.
Dear, love knows no logic.. listen to your heart and let it guide you. Love is for the brave!
Think about your way of engaging in relationships, and what matters to you when you think of an ideal partner for you. What kind of relationship are you satisfied with? Does it match what you really want and give?
Because.. We accept the love we think we deserve. We deserve the love we give. And we give what we have within.
Wait for(be with) the one who will accept you and love for who you are.
Be with the one who will look at you like you’re the most beautiful in the whole world.. the one who will love you even more when you reveal your scars.. and.. we all have scars(some of us even on the skin, I have many of them).. Scars are symbol of your strength and they represent you and who you became. Never be ashamed of them.
Fall in love with the one who find beauty in your scars.. and who will kiss them a little more on those days when you struggle to see them beautiful..
