Overnight success happens after many many years of hard work.
The day you plant the seed is not the day you eat the fruit.
So don’t give up if you go slow.. your direction is more important than your speed.
What matters is to do what you love! Your work will pay off, eventually. Just don’t quit on yourself and your dreams.
As long as you’re making a progress.. speed doesn’t matter.
Your direction should be: being a better person to you and others. Living at peace with yourself and finding the joy in your life.
So.. it looks like that direction is not final and it should not be achieving material things.. rather it’s a journey of learning many things.
I know.. we all wish if many things we want.. happen overnight.. but unfortunately that’s not how life works.
Life is teaching us many lessons, among others is patience.. and God knows how this lesson is difficult for me.. but in order to live a peaceful life, lessons must be understood, learned and applied.
So instead of focusing on your speed, focus on your progress. Just think about where you were one year ago.. and where you are now (speaking about growth). And you didn’t give up. You’re here, making small, but very important steps, changing for the better. It can be quite challenging.. but always remember: don’t give up on yourself.
And, don’t resist the change. Don’t be afraid of change.
Know that making no decision is still a decision.
Being indecisive is still a decision.
If you want a different life, then change is a must. Don’t expect things to happen overnight.. but what can happen in just one second.. is a decision to change whatever it has to be changed.
So.. you have to know which part of your life needs a change… then start with making plans and put them all into action.
Deciding without acting and working on your changes is pointless. You will feel even worse.
Start with a small step. But make that first step.
Let that sink in.
