We are all students, and our only teacher/coach is life.

I always like to emphasize that we are all students, and our only teacher is life. Life is all that, a coach, a teacher, a master. It gives us various challenges, riddles, lessons to learn, signs on the side of the road and very difficult situations. And we should learn to solve it all, learn lessons with the sole aim of growing, changing, connecting with ourselves to become the ‘real self’ and find inner peace.

I say ‘we all should’.. however, not everyone sees life that way. Some people just don’t seem to want to help themselves, making their lives even more harder. They look at life as a constant battlefield, they blame it, and they don’t take responsibility for their decisions, hence their (inner) life. And life(outside).. actually simply ‘is’.. everything that comes after that ‘is’.. depends on you.

And let’s be clear, none of the challenges that life throws at you are easy. But that’s the point.. because such situations enable our growth. The decisions we make in such moments form our personality, our life.

That’s why no matter how difficult situations are.. learn to accept them and see what you can learn. Because what’s the point in refusing to accept the obvious? And everything you are fighting against is growing.

So always ask yourself: How can I make it easier for myself? Because that is the goal.

Your decisions today will affect your future as well as your reaction in similar situations.

We are all students, and our only teacher/coach is life.

An excellent Chinese proverb that speaks precisely about people’s willingness to learn, to help themselves is: ‘Teachers open the door. You enter by yourself.’

Because if you don’t show the will to help yourself, no one else can help you. If you are not open to new learning, change.. no one else can force you to do that. It’s like in school, or in training.. you can have the best coaches, professors, but you are the one who shows the desire for growth, change, you are the one who shows up for yourself, not others.

And as a consequence of today’s trends, where everything turns into a business, we have many different ‘coaches’ who tell you how you should live your life, and they themselves can’t get their shit together. Way to many motivational speakers and they themselves are not sure that they understand what they are talking about.

Why are they called ‘life coach’ when no one has mastered life to the end? When I hear someone call themselves that.. my whole body trembles, and I turn my head to the other side. I am very careful when it comes to these things, which I recommend to you as well.

By nature I’m a seeker, I look for answers, my peace, and then I like to share all that with you, with the desire to help. And the more I know, the more I see how much I don’t know! And my knowledge is not small.

Therefore, I would never tell someone ‘you should live like that’, even if I see that it should be like that. I can only say, if any of this works for you, THEN APPLY. If someone asks me for advice, I will give a solution again.. but it’s up to them to decide what to do.

‘When the student is ready the teacher will appear.’

Depending on when you’re reading this, I wish you either a beautiful day or a good night, you beautiful soul! 🙏🌏

Irina

So, let me introduce myself. My name is Irina Vujaklija and I was born in Belgrade on 31 January 1979. Who am I? Love. I know, you will roll your eyes.. But that is how it is. Discovering my true self wasn’t an easy process. Constantly working on myself, learning by seeking answers to many questions, I have managed to overcome very complicated life situations. Among other things, my severe motorcycle accident in 2004. A life altering moment in just one second.
