Why do people say help and mean sell, business when it is wrong?

Why do people say ‘help’ and mean ‘sell’ and ‘business’ when it is so wrong?

The world has become like a huge market place, full of sellers, selfish people who (of course) want nothing more than to sell you something.

Even some of those who ‘help’ very often have some kind of hidden intention behind, usually some kind of benefit for them. That’s not help but business.

We see many ‘philanthropists’ who show you only one side of the coin, the side where they look great in your eyes by donating money helping others. And of course, the vast majority accept it without even questioning their true intentions.

BUT if you decide to check how humane they are and how much they love people, just track their ‘philanthropism’.. and track money they give and what is behind all that humanitarian work.. and in no time you will be surprised how far is that from being a philanthropist.

Which of course, as always, makes me think.. how honest are people? Or dishonest..

But.. lets get back to ourselves. Because everything starts there.

Now take a moment to check in with yourself. How honest are you? Do you help with pure heart without expecting anything in return? Do you help and post things on the internet to show others how good you are? Or you help in silence.. simply.. and let your help make someone’s life better?

Do you say ‘I want to help you with this’.. but you want to charge for that? We see this very often in the business world.. Dear, please, choose another word. You should charge for your work, not help.

‘Build someone up. Put their insecurities to sleep. Remind them they’re worthy. Tell them they’re magical. Be a light in a too often dim world.’

Be honest with yourself and others. Encourage someone. Stop selling and start helping. If you see something beautiful in someone tell them. If you see that you can help, HELP them. But firstly, know what help is.

Help is not business.

We have more than enough haters, sellers, complainers.. the world desperately needs honesty, helpers, doers.. we need empowerment! We should empower each other, that’s why we are here. To lift each other up.

Be kind. It costs no money. Be kind to one another!
